CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT
Venturing Green has had a run'in with politics, and things have chanaged. Shaz is no longer the coordinator. She would like to thank all participants for making the most fun and challenging activity she has run.
Woodhouse mangement has allowed the Venturers to have one weekend for VG each year, but it has to be at Seeonee Hills.
There has been talk for some time, that VG should be incorporated into the MURRAY RIVER RESCUE. That would run on the same weekend as MRR and be considered as VG for that year. The main change is that VG will become a single day environmental project and there will be camping and cost relating. While it can be used for service section of the Queen Scout award.
The focus of VG has changed to be seen in the scouting community and to promote Venturers to the other scouting sections.

Morphett Vale, Black Hawk (Hawthorn), Taperoo, Reynella and Kuitpo/Prospect
Hill
We helped
to clear the creek and Challenge hill of weeds (big and small). Since
the Jamboree the car park next to the Rymil Centre has been sealed and
pine bark was needed to be spread as ground cover around the edges.
